14 Days in America team photo in Portland, OR -- August 31, 2004
Together, David Gibbons of
Lighthouse Entertainment and Paul Skiera of
Arizona State University
have seized the opportunity to make a historic adventure across the
world. In the first part of a seven part series spanning the
globe. Lighthouse and ASU's
Technology Based Learning and Research team
together in launching "Fourteen Days in America" where a dedicated team
of 18 individuals will travel the country for a unique goal: to showcase
the true "Face of Freedom" of America by photographing and filming
people from fourteen different states in fourteen days. Lighthouse will
be capturing the still photography under the direction of photographer
Richard Knapp, while ASU will be filming the documentary under the
direction of Chris LaMont.
Brad Golden, Director of Photography,
will
be leading the ASU team along with three students looking to gain
hands-on experience in media production will also take part in the trip
to further their education of production. The students will be a very
dynamic part of the filming process. Through concentrated involvement
students will enhance their education while taking part in a creative
and unique project that looks intimately into American life and the true
meaning of the "Face of Freedom".
